Mrs. Faria completed her education and training at the Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University where she received her master's and certificate of advanced graduate study in School Psychology. She has experience working with clients ranging from young children through adulthood, as well as providing counseling services to high school students. Her work experiences include response to intervention, assessment, and social-emotional interventions for high school students. Her clinical interests include using mindfulness techniques as a coping/preventative measure for mood-related disorders and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Mrs. Faria also has a strong interest in neuropsychological assessment and early development interventions. Mrs. Faria is originally from São Paulo, Brazil.
