Sara Carabbio received her bachelor of science in art therapy with a minor in psychology from Lesley University. She earned her masters degree then doctorate degree in clinical psychology at William James College. Her clinical focus has always been on children and families. She was a psychoeducational evaluator at the GAAB Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital, which researched learning disabilities. She is an adjunct faculty member at Lesley University’s undergraduate department of psychology. Dr. Carabbio conducts psychological evaluations on children as young as 18 months through early adulthood. She addresses referral questions related to a wide array of concerns such as autism, trauma, and mood. Dr. Carabbio strives to holistically understand the persons she works with such as by considering their family system, community, and broader culture. She also has experience providing therapy to those across the lifespan in a variety of settings such as community mental health centers, schools, universities, and private settings.
