The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) allows you to accurately assess and diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) across age, developmental level, and language skills. The ADOS-2 is a semi-structured, standardized assessment of communication, social interaction, play, and restricted and repetitive behaviors. By observing and coding these behaviors, it is possible to obtain information that informs diagnosis, intervention, treatment planning, and educational placement. The ADOS-2 is an essential addition to a Neurodevelopmental Evaluation which includes the ADOS-2, parent/teacher report measures of social-emotional functioning, and a cognitive/intellectual evaluation.
